Wayne Yost originally formed the franchise as “Mr. Key” Locksmith which serviced residential and commercial customers for locksmith services.

1991

Action 1st Loss Prevention was formed which targeted the physical security needs of commercial businesses.

2014

Russell Yost joined the company alongside Wayne to officially make Action 1st a family business.

2016

Action 1st was incorporated. Russell Yost was named CEO and Wayne Yost was named CFO of the company.

2014 - Present

Action 1st has pivoted the company to focus on electronic security such as access control and cameras to commercial clients while still providing locksmith services.

CEO

Russell Yost joined Action 1st Loss Prevention in 2014. His primary goal is to match quality service with customer satisfaction.

Russell took over as CEO of Action 1st in 2017 and takes pride in each of the 2,000+ customers that the company has had the opportunity to work with.

Going forward, Russell sees the direction of Action 1st is staying committed to their loyal customers while looking for the opportunity to help other Southern California business owners with their electronic security needs.

Wayne Yost

Founder

Wayne Yost founded Action 1st Loss Prevention in 1984. He set forth developing a security business focused on customer service and their security needs.

Today, Wayne’s primary focus is unchanged, ensuring Action 1st customers receive excellent service and providing top quality products. Wayne is gracious for the relationships which have been formed with his customers over the years.

Wayne is a combat veteran who proudly served in the US Army and is currently involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
